Fluorescence Detection
There are numerous methods available as commercial instruments, optimized for whole genome sequencing (WGS) targeted sequencing and other applications. They all rely on some type of light detection: usually lasers excited fluorescence or bioluminescent enzymes. Key laser parameters are usually low-noise and high reliability.
